Directors Welcome
Director's Welcome
Dr. Anshuman Razdan
As the director of ATIC, I am delighted to announce that in January 2008, ATIC was approved as an Arizona Board of Regents (ABOR) Center. ATIC was established in the fall of 2006, and given our short existence, it is a proud achievement for the faculty and staff involved with ATIC to become a recognized ABOR Center.
The ATIC team is comprised of faculty and staff that have been part of the ASU research community for many years. We have collaborated with several industry representatives on an individual basis and have applied for and received many different types of federal funding. ATIC continues to collaborate with industry, both small and large, in addition to local entrepreneurs.
The Center is committed to lowering the barriers for collaboration, not only making it easier for industry to collaborate with ASU faculty, but also easier for ASU faculty to collaborate with each other on joint projects.
In the words of ASU President Michael Crow, "ASU should be embedded in the community and should strive to solve the R&D needs of enterprises in Arizona". ATIC is doing just that.
