Software Support — Filled
Posted: January 29, 2009 Needed: Professional help with our software platform. Prefer to hire a graduate student or advanced undergraduate to help identify and fix current problems and to potentially help develop an integrated platform going forward for a local start-up company. Ideally, this will be based upon an MS 2007 platform with a data base to be determined. We have daily issues with our software that are beyond our ability to fix. We produce narrative appraisal reports for commercial buildings. A typical appraisal is 100-150 pages long, with 100 to 200 individual links from an Excel workbook to a Word file. Our current platform seems unstable. We have constant problems establishing and maintaining links, and with documents crashing or seizing. I should point out that we have years of experience using MS 2003 to do similar tasks, but never had the types of problems we are now experiencing with MS 2007. Please send a cover letter stating your qualifications in addition to your resume and availability in an email with the subject line: SOFTWARE SUPPORT to atic@asu.edu. |
