ASU and ASU Collaborations
ASU and ASU Collaborations
As part of the New American University, ATIC is taking a leadership role in facilitating different ASU research groups to come together and provide resources, such as budget and proposal preparation, leading up to proposals at the national and state level. In 2006, the Arizona legislature allocated $35M to Science Foundation Arizona. This funding is expected to grow in the coming years.A large part of NSF, NIH, and other mission agencies budgets are targeted towards applied research. Other agencies, including corporations and philanthropic foundations, encourage use-inspired research as well.
Students can benefit from ATIC Internships
ASU has a diverse faculty when it comes to technology-based education and research, making the university a sound platform for students to participate in experimentation and development of new technologies and ideas.
Businesses can route student internships through ATIC to lower overhead costs. ATIC will assist in hiring students and managing expenditures and budgets. Faculty will benefit from pre-proposal support and ATIC's continued support throughout the life cycle of all ATIC collaborations.
